Wow! Best thing ever!

  1. Go straight to your best IT person and arrange a meeting with the blind person to set up the most appropriate hardware and software
  2. Reimagine your induction process and evacuation procedures
  3. Offer some non rush-hour pre-meetings to practice the route from home to the office to the desk to the toilets to the catering
  4. Book some extra time slots in your diary now for their first two weeks for regular meetings and be ready to step in and make changes to systems and processes as necessary
  5. Be ready to be amazed by how many people will want to help out and make this a success :-)
  6. Brief the facilities team, trip hazards should have a new meaning, cleaners trailing leads a special issue
